Music begins where speech ends. E.T.A. Hoffmann

All our love is for music

All our love is for music carries you off into a scenario played during a concert at Sanssouci Palace. The artists turn into Frederick the Great’s sisters Princess Anna Amalia and Wilhelmine of Bayreuth. Original quotations from letters are portrayed on stage and embellished with compositions from the art-loving monarch’s own pen and his musical environment.

The concert programme was developed on the occasion of the 300th birthday of Frederick II.
